Roy Martin is now Canning River Canoe Club President 2008 CRCC Annual General Meeting Saturday, 1 November 2008 The 2008 Canning River Canoe Club Club Annual General Meeting was held at the Thompson's house on Saturday 1st November followed by a BBQ lunch. A successful meeting was held, the existing committee was thanked for their efforts during the year and new office bearers were elected - see who makes up the new committee by visiting this news story. The 2008 Canning River Canoe Club Club Annual General Meeting was held at the Thompson's house on Saturday 1st November followed by a BBQ lunch. A successful meeting was held with some vying for key committee roles.  It wasn't until Roy Martin made an impassioned speech dedicating himself to the welfare and advancement of the club that the members voted him for president.  The outgoing president Phil Anning gave a wonderful presidents report detailing the events and progress made by the club during the year.  Nicole Orton stepped down as Treasurer after four successful years in the position.   The previous committee was thanked for their efforts during the year and new office bearers were elected as follows;     Position Person Club President Roy Martin   Club Vice President Judith Thompson Treasurer Andree Martin Secretary   Christian Thompson   Website administrator Christian Thompson   Committee Members   Bull Orton, Phil Anning, Francis Nolan   Full Meeting minutes are available here
